“Is This Disc Great?” with Disc Store Nate featuring the Innova Invader

“Is This Disc Great?” Is my Disc Golf disc review series where I test out some of the newest Disc Golf discs on the market (and a few older releases) so that you can see how they fly for me and if it’s a disc that you need to add to your bag!

I take the discs out on the course and to the field to film shots on as many throwing angles as possible so you can get a full picture of what the disc can do.
Then I add in helpful flight trackers and release angle lines so you can see exactly how the disc is flying.
Finally you get my analysis of the disc, the shots I think it works best for and the types of players who would benefit most from bagging it.

This episode features the Innova Invader!

Innova says the Invader is one of the best driving and approach putters available. Its flat top and low profile make it easy to grip-n-rip consistently straight flights. Now available in the feel and grip of DX, the Invader could become a player favorite for putting too.

It’s Flight numbers are:
Speed: 3

Glide: 2

Turn: 0

Fade: 1

“Is This Disc Great?” with Disc Store Nate featuring the DiscMania Origin

This episode features the DiscMania Origin!

DISCMANIA SAYS ABOUT THE ORIGIN:

DiscMania says the Origin is the small diameter midrange driver with big potential. The smooth rounded feel of the nose provides an excellent feel in hand paired with a gentle false bead to add just a touch of stability. Players will enjoy the tacky plastic that Neo offers and superb gliding ability when thrown at any speed. Origin is fairly understandable at high speeds, making a perfect ally for long turnover shots and precise, laser straight lines when thrown with control. It will thrive in tailwinds, wooded fairways, and calmer conditions out on the course. You will be blown away at how far this disc will fly compared to it’s flight numbers. If the fan favorite Essence had a mid-range relative, this is it.

It’s Flight numbers are:

Speed: 5

Glide: 5

Turn: -1

Fade: 1

This episode features the MVP Reactor!

MVP SAYS ABOUT THE REACTOR:

MVP says the Reactor is a workhorse mid that fits perfectly in the gap between the out of production Vector and Axis. With a modern profile and enhanced GYRO® effect, fans can expect noticeably more glide than the Vector and a tick more stability than the Axis. With that added stability and glide, the Reactor will carve up any fairway you can imagine. Swooping anhyzers? Check. Booming hyzers? Double check. The first member of MVP’s next generation of midranges, the Reactor is sure to reach critical mass this season.

It’s Flight numbers are:

Speed: 5

Glide: 5

Turn: -0.5
