Hi I'm DiscStore Nate, PDGA #52210.
I have played Disc Golf since 2010 and worked in DiscStore's Disc Golf department since 2016.
Using the knowledge I've gained over the years I put together educational Disc Golf video content to help you make the best buying decisions for building your Disc Golf bag, including my YouTube disc review show "Is This Disc Great?"
“Is This Disc Great?” Is my Disc Golf disc review series where I test out some of the newest Disc Golf discs on the market (and a few older releases) so that you can see how they fly for me and if it’s a disc that you need to add to your bag!
I take the discs out on the course and to the field to film shots on as many throwing angles as possible so you can get a full picture of what the disc can do. Then I add in helpful flight trackers and release angle lines so you can see exactly how the disc is flying. Finally you get my analysis of the disc, the shots I think it works best for and the types of players who would benefit most from bagging it. This episode features the Dynamic DiscsRaider! Dynamic Discssays theRaiderissure to steal its spot in bags of all skill levels. The Raider sits comfortably between the Trespass and Enforcer in stability, and it excels at finishing forward instead of diving at the end of its flight. Players with slower arm speeds will find a dependable, overstable driver that will gain them distance over the Enforcer or Defender, while faster arms will love the Raider as a workhorse driver that is perfect for carrying multiples to cover a variety of shots. Get ready to put some power on your distance shots, and watch the Raider destroy your previous best drives. It’s Flight numbers are: Speed: 13
Glide: 5
Turn: -0.5
Fade: 3

The Sergeant forms a bridge between fairway drivers and distance drivers with a comfortable rim for both backhands and forehands and enough stability to work out of a turn, but not so much that it will always dive left at the finish. Pick up a Sergeant and experience full command of your drives! It’s Flight numbers are: Speed: 11

DISCMANIA SAYS ABOUT THE ORIGIN:
DiscMania says theOrigin is the small diameter midrange driver with big potential. The smooth rounded feel of the nose provides an excellent feel in hand paired with a gentle false bead to add just a touch of stability. Players will enjoy the tacky plastic that Neo offers and superb gliding ability when thrown at any speed. Origin is fairly understandable at high speeds, making a perfect ally for long turnover shots and precise, laser straight lines when thrown with control. It will thrive in tailwinds, wooded fairways, and calmer conditions out on the course. You will be blown away at how far this disc will fly compared to it’s flight numbers. If the fan favorite Essence had a mid-range relative, this is it.
