CUSTOM PRINTING METHODS

DYE SUBLIMATION

Dye Sublimation is the process of dying the jersey using special inks and paper to be pressed directly into the jersey. It allows us to use any photographic image of thousands of colors and press it straight onto the light colored jersey. Since the jersey itself is dyed, it never fades or cracks over time and the ink is not felt when worn. This process can only be done on white polyester apparel however, but is perfect for your white jerseys.

We have two methods of dye sublimation for teams to choose from. Full sublimation or spot sublimation. Spot sublimation, “spot sub” is applied directly to pre-manufactured jerseys and allows us to customize an area of the blank jersey. Teams typically spot sub the front and back of their jersey using two locations. The back will be the area for the name and /or number with the front being their logo.

Full sublimation, “full sub” is used when the team wants to completely cover their jersey with a design from edge to edge and is applied to blank rolls of fabric, then cut and sewed together to create the jersey after the printing is complete. This allows for unlimited customization of the jersey and creates a very dynamic look for the team.

We have the opportunity for fastest turnaround times for full sublimation in as little as 3 weeks when available. That is about twice as fast as the other guys.
